Supermeg 2:1 Problems

I am writing to express my concern over the Supermeg 2:1 I just installed on my 09 HD FLHTUI. The headers did not line up with the exhaust ports on the engine requiring a good amount of force (leverage with a piece of wood) to get them into place. Secondly the Transmission Mount Angle did not line up therefore I had to put one side of the clamp on either side of the angle and use a wrap of Heat Tape to file the gap around the pipe. Also the space between the pipes where the Transmission Mounting Clamp goes was such that it is now tight against the upper and lower pipes. My concerns surrounding these issues are that cracking will likely occur as a result of the "preload on the Headers where they attach to the engine and the Transmission Mount Clamp will likely wear through the pipe where it is contacting. Add to this the potential of damaging the Cylinder Head Exhaust Studs from the existing preload I need to get your feedback on what you would suggest or what you are able to do for me in the event of problems.

Will try to call you later as well, but to touch on a few thoughts;
A 2:1, by design on a V-Twin has to be 'spread' apart to go into the ports.
No way around this, unless you had a two piece head pipe? Make sure you are using the proper cone shaped gaskets and the old ones are removed (seems simple, but you'd be suprised).
Using the supplied trans bracket, the P-clamp and the pipe should line up with the P-Clamp mounting on the bottom side of the bracket? If not, go back an look at the port mounting, the screws should be loose still also, wiggle it around to get it straight. You should never alter from the directions wrapping anything under the clamp, this will cause the clamp to not clamp down completely (being too wide and hitting the adjoining pipe).
I would suggest loosening everything back up and seeing what you can do.

FYI yes the proper gaskets were used per your install instructions and old ones removed prior to this. Yes as I stated I did have to Pry/spread the headers apart to get them lined up with the ports. If this is normal/necessary I guess I did the right thing. As I stated my concern with this is applying a "pre-load" that might cause either the header to crack or worse, the studs or cylinder head to be damaged for which we all know Harley will have no sympathy for my installing an aftermarket exhaust! Ergo no warranty!
I will as you suggest loosen everything off to once again attempt aligning the Tranny mount.
