Whats the Difference ?
Hi please inform: What is the difference between:
Supertrapp2:1 Supermeg and Supertrapp Kerker 2:1 Supermeg ?
Is it the Kerker is 360 full covered heat shield (double skin) and no disc's and the Supertrapp 2:1 Supermeg is 3 piece heat shield and has disc's ?
Are both available in Black ?
Are they available in UK ?

Headpipe, mounting hardware and 3 piece heatshields are the same (except for logo). The muffler on the Kerker is a conventional core where the SuperTrapp has the added benefit of the disc assembly (exhaust flow control by adding or removing discs).Originally Posted by db133

Sorry I dont understand. When you say Supertrapp do you mean Supermeg as they are both SuperTrapp exhausts are they not ?
Please clarify (part no's etc): European Union approved 2:1. Megaphone Series 2:1. Megaphone with low exit 2:1. Supermeg 2:1. Kerker 2:1. Heatshields 3 piece. Heatshields full 360 double skin. Logo's. Black. Chrome...........etc etc
I would like to order for 2:1 with disc assembly/black for 2006 FXSTBi but am now totally confused and therefor unable to proceed.

Both are SuperMeg's. One is branded SuperTrapp, one is branded Kerker.

Which as you can see does not assist me in my confusion. What I am after is a 2:1 in Black with disc's to tune for my 2006 FXSTBi. Can you please assist with the options and part numbers please ? A very confused db

I understand your confusion. Hopefully this will help. All of our "SuperTrapp" titled products are tunable, meaning they have discs in which you can add or subtract to adjust flow. "Kerker" titled products are not tunable and do not have discs. If its discs you want in a 2:1 SuperMeg, then you will want to go with the SuperTrapp 2:1 SuperMegs in black. Yes thanks it did, all I need to know now is the part number for SuperTrapp 2:1 SuperMeg in Black ? Will this come with the correct End Cap and disc's for my 2006 FXSTBi Stock with SE Stage 1 Air Filter for EFI ?

Just looked at an advert on your site which stated 'Supertrap Kerker 2:1 Supermeg System'
Now whats that all about ? As I stated before can not place an order until I know what to order. Which is not unreasonable is it ? I have been on this over a week now and i am more confused than when I started. I personally don't think it could be made more complicated if you wanted. We do really require clarification here.
