Default HD SE and Supertrapp SE

Can you tell me when/if Supertrapp stopped making the Screamin Eagle slip-ons for HD? I am looking at a set of almost new slip-ons that a guy bought in 04. He decided he wanted more noise. I might be interested in these if they were originally manufactured by Supertrapp.
    Thanks for any help.

SuperTrapp stopped making the Screaming Eagle Performance slip-ons for the touring models in 2006.
There are a couple of ways to tell if the units were made by SuperTrapp/Kerker. There will be a part number stamped on the inlet of the muffler body (under body to header clamp). It will be a 7 digit number, w/pre-fix 027-XXXX. Another giveaway is the end-cap/core attachment screws...three equally spaced holes/screws at the end of the muffler body.

    Another question for you bschultz.
Did Supertrapp/Kerker ever make pipes for HD that had cat converters in them?

And another - I had a look at them today and they do have the serial # as you mentioned and the 3 evenly spaced screws so are definitely S/K.
Does that mean they are the same as the current Supertrapp SEs, m/n 128-65115.

PS - I suspect the cat convert question is a stupid one but it seems I have to ask at least 1 per day ;>)

    Thanks a lot!
