I searched but was unable to find anything specific, so I'll ask here.

Build details:

2000 Buell M2
Andrews N4 Cams
Ported and polished Thunderstorm Heads
Polished intake
Mikuni HSR42
Buell Race Ham can

At RPMs above 5000, I'm getting reversion pulses back through the intake. The result is gas soaking the K&N filter and black soot in the intake/airbox. I can also hear the pulses at that RPM range.

I currently have the SuperTrapp IDS Slip-on muffler with stock exhaust with 15 disks installed.

Looking for guidance on tuning to reduce/eliminate the reversion pulse waves.

Should I add disks or add disks?
