I need information on a Supertrapp muffler that I was given. The number 027-3601 is located on the hanger. The body is aluminum and there are 6 discs at the outlet end.

That is the part number for the muffler body only for a 813-3601 system for; 85-87/91-00 XR600 and 92-16 XR650L.

Thank you. Other than reducing plates is there any other way to reduce the dB ?

I thought about repacking it, however, I can't seem to figure out how to get it apart. There appears to be one rivet on the inlet end under where the clamp sits. There are no cap screws,dome screws, and no rivets anywhere else on the body. If I drill out the rivet will it come apart and what do I need to re-rivet it with after packing?
