    Default 2013 FLHRC disc info

I have a 2013 FLHRC road king 103 cid with stock cams, ThunderMax autotune #309-362, Zippers High Flow AC #117-449, and Vance & Hines Dresser duals #16829, and just purchased a pair of Fatshots slip ons #728-71576 woth closed end caps and was wondering how many discs would be a good starting point for tuning in optimal torque with my set-up.

    Thanks

8-10 is a good starting point, be sure to use liberal amounts of anti-seize on the threads in the muffler body. Go ride!

I have installed the fatshots with 10 discs, the bike runs well good torque and power but boy are they ever quiet. I find that there is not enough exhaust volume for my taste and was wondering if I were to install open end caps to increase exhust DB's what no of discs would you recomend I use as a starting point?

The "open" end cap(s) will provide more sound. The open end caps flow for 10-12 discs, so to keep the same flow/tune just swap out the open end cap for what you have on it now (10+closed).
