Kawasaki GPz 550

I'm an owner of two '85 Kawasaki GPz550's and a frequent poster on a few Kawasaki and GPz 550 sites. I had a lengthy conversation with someone in tech at SuperTrapp, about the applications for the '81-'86 GPz550 year systems, both race and street versions over a year ago. Sadly they are all out of production, and replacement parts are not being made anymore.

Yesterday I found that there is a Kerker System listed for the '84-'85 Models. #123-65551. Is this correct? I would think with all of the vintage racers racing the '82-'83 Models(about 6 I know of in Canada) that there should be some of these available.

MAC or Motad(U.K.) are currently the only systems being produced at this time. Listed below are the SuperTrapp Part Numbers for the systems that use to be available:

127-60550 '81 Standard Black System
128-60550 '81 Chrome System
123-60551 '82-'83 Standard Black System
122-60551 '82-'83 Race Black System(Must remove centerstand. Oil and filer changes requires removal of system.)
123-60552 '84-up Standard Black Syatem.
122-60552 '84-up Race Black(Must remove centerstand. Oil and filter changes requires removal of system.)

P/N 123-65551. 4:1 Kerker K-Series w/black ss headpipe is still available for the '84-'85 GPZ550.
The remainder of the P/N's referenced are no longer manufactured (disctontinued in 2001 and 2002).

Any individual parts available for that systems you do have for the '84-'86 GPz/ZX550. like silencers, midpipes, and front header section? I have a Supertrapp system that came with my '85 and the underside looks like someone jacked it up, or bottomed it out as there's a flat spot that's been welded. Works OK, but looking at my options.

Is #123-65551 a "race" or "street" system? The race system needs to be removed to change the oil and filter.

Some of the component parts like baffles and possibly some muffler bodies are still available, however headpipes are not on the discontnued systems.
The "race" systems start with the pre-fix 122-, where the "street" versions begin with 123-.

We have no record of P/N 482-2261. We manufactured (discontinued) two Kerker K-Series 4:1 systems for the '84-85 GPZ550. P/N 122-60552 (race) and 123-60552 (street). You may want to ask the seller for component part number from the pipes. The headpipe and connnector pipe will have a component P/N stamped on them.
