I have a 2008 Harley FHXL and put on the SE slip-on pipes. One reason I choose these pipes is from an article that tested slip-ons, that was posted on the SuperTrapp site. The pipes were supposed to be only scarcely louder than stock, but a better sound. That is what I was looking for, because I have a radio now and want to be able to hear my music while cruising.
The sound is much louder than stock and it is hard to hear my music. Has anyone else experienced this or do I have defective pipes? This is my 3rd pair of SuperTrapp pipes over the years and I have always had a good experience.
