    Default Needing Replacement Parts For

I recently bought a Custom FXR. It's a Fat Guys Pro Street Frame with a V Twin Engine (Unsure what engine exactly) Numbers on the Engine look something like this AB04L****. I've found nothing so far. Previous owner said it was 1450CC Either HD or S&S Engine. I see no stamping of S&S on it. The carb is a S&S Shorty G.

The exhaust on it is a Supertrapp. 2:1 Mega (I believe). Numbers on the tail pipe are 027-7144. Heat shield numbers are 051-7147 & 051-7091. I'm missing the end shield. Cannot seem to find the header Pipe numbers. But here's a photo of it.

I need to find replacement brackets for this exhaust. The bracket this goes in the location of the white box is broken it needs to be replaced. I also need to find a bracket that holds the tail pipe located in the red box. It's missing and the tail pipe looks like it's ready to accept something there for support (See photo D) below. The heat shield that is located in the white box above is the heat shield that is missing as well. I need to replace it.

    Broken bracket.

Also something looks missing here. End cap possibly? If so I need to find a suitable cap for my set up.

I'm ready to order these parts if I could locate them. Any help is appreciated.

The collector heatshield will be P/N 051-7143.
Looks like you will need a disc assembly (discs, end-cap & screws) and possibly a core if you are unable to remove the screws broken off in the IBC.
The P/N's given are used in several of our 2:1 systems.
The bracket remnants shown in the picture does NOT look like one of our designs. Do you have the rest of the bracket?
The headpipe part number could narrow down a possible bracket. The P/N is stamped on the end of the collector (may need to loosen clamp and move muffler/megaphone back).

I appreciate your quick reply. I will be ordering the collector heatshield and the disc assembly if I am able to remove the screws from the IBC. I pulled the muffler/megaphone and see nothing stamped on the end of the collector YET. I checked only the top side of the collector end through scratches and scarrings from the muffler/megaphone being installed and removed. Didn't see anything on the top of the pipe. I'll check bottom of header pipe today. As for the bracket remnants shown above, it's all I have to go with. The PO has no idea what happened to it. I'm guessing it was dropped at one time. BUT while I was browsing through your downloadable 2012 catalog, I came across the Chrome Kerker 2:1SuperMeg located on the bottom left of page 25 that shows a bracket that looks promising. Is it possible (if I can't find the p/n for the header pipe) this could be a Kerker header pipe with Supertrapp muffler and heat shields? Regarding the muffler. It looks like it will accept a bracket or bolting to support to the frame by the rear tire. Is there a p/n for this "attachment" or size and length of bolt?

The P/N off the REAR headpipe heatshield (stamped on back) may narrow down the search.

That number (Rear Headpipe Shield) would be 051-7091.

Sorry...you provided that earlier and I had already looked at that, still several systems use the muffler body and heatshields. With out the headpipe P/N we would be guessing.

Your best bet is the bracket out of the a Softail/Dyna system 828-71454...P/N 029-7145

I removed the header pipe and after close inspection I did find the number on the bottom side of the pipe. Header Pipe Number is: 050 7091

    So here are the facts:
    Megaphone/Muffler Pipe 027-7144 HAVE
    Header Pipe 050 7091 HAVE
    Heat shield 051-7147 & 051-7091 HAVE
    NEED Collector heat shield 051-7143
Pipe Strap 27 73MSH by Live Star 960 HAVE
NEED the supporting bracket(s) and or hardware to secure the system to the bike.
POSSIBLY NEED the disc assembly (discs, end-cap & screws) and possibly a core if I cant remove broken hardware.

All of these components are common in system 828-71454 and the transmission mounted bracket is 029-7145.

You can order the bracket via our Customer Service Department 8-5 est Mon-Fri.

Well I recieved the correct heatshield but the bracket is not going to work. It doesn't come out far enough from where it mounts to the transmission to clear the frame.

Red shows the length the offset needs to be. Blue shows the difference in what Supertrapp sent me and where it needs to be to clear the frame. Green shows a bolt that the bracket does not have a hole for. The other holes in the new bracket align with the tranny hardware. I can give measurements and see if Supertrapp can find the bracket or maybe by from what I've shown here now helps you identify the bracket I need and that will work OR I could cut the bracket and weld in some length to the offset and drill the extra hole needed. But that still leaves me without the mounting hardware that I had said I would need as well that didn't arrive. Here AGAIN is what I have now...

I need the hardware(part numbers) to mount the bracket (above) to the muffler below

Can you figure out with the latest photos of the new bracket which bracket will work for me?
Would measurements of the needed offset to clear the frame help find the correct bracket? Maybe the same bracket but for a big rear tire(200) clearance?
