Question Modifying Cone End Cap on a V-5 2:1

I am currently running a cone only (No Disk) on my V-5 2 into 1 for my VRSCB V Rod. This set up nets me 114.0 Hp and really helped smooth out my Hp and torque curve at the 2K to 5.5 K range.

Mods: Power commander V and K&N Filter with semi-topless (Air induction nozzle cut off and top front of air box open)

Question: I have been thinking about rimming ID of the cone out by 1/8 inch to help bring the velocity and wave scavenging to a higher level which should help engine breathe easier by creating a lower pressure at the exhaust valve.

Do you know if anyone has tried this before?
What is your take on this?

    Thanks for your time.

We have not had any feedback regarding a customer trying what you are suggesting.
Before altering your existing "open" end-cap you may want to add some discs, which will increase exhaust flow and accomplish the same results.
