    Default exhaust for 2010 ultra

I have stouts on my '10 Ultra right know. Every thing else is stock. I'm thinking about going to true duals or the 2 into 1 with the phantom. I want performance and sound (loud and good rumble). Going to use SE breather and race tuner. Also, can stouts or Kerkers go on the 2 into 1's or are they one piece? I have different end caps I'd like to use.

Your current set up with the "Stouts" will out perform the "true duals" or "Phantom".
The inlet on the Stouts/Kerker slip-ons are smaller than the 2-1 headpipe collector.

Think about doing your intake and fuel management upgrades first. If you still are looking for more performance/sound then look at the 2:1 SuperTrapp SuperMeg (with an open end-cap for more sound).

I want to get rid of the catalyst. Won't that help the bike breath better, and improve sound when done with the heavy breather?

A headpipe void of the catalyst will provide a less restrictive exhaust flow and increase the sound level.
True duals will provide the sound; however, normally, at a cost to performance on a street machine.
