Default 04 sportster 1200r supertrapp exhaust

hello all i just put a big sucker kit and a supertrapp 2 into 1 exhaust on my 1200 sportster R. i dont know how may discs it has on it right now as i bought it from a swap meet. i will say it runs great. i know i need to take the time and count the discs but is there any suggestions on how many discs i should run. the bike is stock other than that. i want to run 1/4 mile with the bike and have plans for building the engine i.e. big bore, cams, and headwork. but for now if anyone has suggestions to get the most out of the bike right now it would be great. i will say that compared my buddys 1200c with a slip-on i pulled away from him in a second gear pull so bad he went home. if anyone can help me out it would be great.

    thanks
    lee

If it's running great then go ride. Just make sure you're not in a lean condition. If you are in a lean condition start removing discs, 2-3 at a time until your not. The opposite applies if you are in a rich condition.
