disc tuning on harley?

I have a supermeg 2:1. I have been running between 9 and 10 discs with an open end cap and it runs good. I want to go with a closed end cap to cut down on noise. Will 20 discs with closed end cap be a good starting point. I have read on some forums that between 12 and 16 with closed end caps is a good combo but that seems too few to me. Mine is a mild build flht 95, mild head work and mild cam ~85hp 95 tq. thanks.

The 4" open end-cap flows for 10-12 discs. 20 discs + closed end-cap should right on the money.
