Default Running a phantom pipe w/o the baffle

I have puchased the phantom pipe for my 09 street glide. There is no motor work done to it. The pipe is a little quiet for me and was wondering if I run it withiut the baffle will I damage my motor? According to Yaffe's website it is ok to run without it if you're looking for more noise but I rather have your opinion on this and will it cause any damage?

As long as your "closed loop" FI is operating as it should, removing the baffle should not be an issue.
