I have a 2001 Road King Cams are Screamin Eagle 203's Also Ness big sucker K/N filter and It is carburated I am using the stock header pipes. How many discs for each side I like relative quiet and low-end torque for two-up riding but of course like have a little something on the top-end for passing my tech says 18disk right and 6disk left

I would have started you out with 16-R & 8-L; however your tuner sounds like he may have had success with your combo on a previous tune. If that's the case go with your techs recommendation...you can't beat experience.
