    Question SE Fatshotz more sound

    2010 Harley Ultra Limited with stock 103"motor with stage 1 SEST,SE A/C, K&N airfilter,SE Fatshotz with 10 discs open end cap.The bike runs good just would like a little more sound.So would i add more dics or take out the open end cap and leave the black ring on to open it up

    The catalyst in the headpipe is the limiting sound factor on the 2010 touring models. You can try pulling the disc assembly off and just running the black "decorative" ring for maximum flow (sound): however your performance & gas milage may suffer.

    So to get the best sound and performance,should i add more discs with the stainless open end cap or remove discs.Thank's

    The out of the box set up is most likely going to give you the best performance.

    The EPA SE Fatshotz 80db is a little week in the sound department i was looking at the tunning kit for better sound ,i think the stock mufflers are just as loud.Just wanted to get a better sound with keeping the EPA Cat in the head pipe.Thank's
