Improving application base for Universals

Just a tip request. If a 3/4" width "c" shaped ring was included with the universal and was advertised as a spacer for odd diameter exhaust pipes, it should increase SuperTrapp acceptance.

I'm fabricating my own spacer ring to seal the gap between my 2 3/8" OD exhaust pipe and my second 2 1/2" ID universal SuperTrapp installation.* I could just crimp the universal's inlet down like I did before, but I like the spacer idea better.

I think others would find this a welcome convenience too.

* Second installation, because I have a second bike. Just wanted to clarify that my thoroughbred ZX-9r isn't going anywhere.

Thanks. I'll post pictures of my 2nd SuperTrapp install in about a week, so they can see how a simple extra piece of metal (or spacer) can dynamically and more effectively seal the mid-pipe to muffler gap. I don't see how it couldn't prove to be cost effective for your company.
