Trying to find info on old megaphone
I recently purchased a used supertrapp megaphone from ebay. I was told it was part of a full system. The part is # 4 MSM-61101. I'm going to use it on a custom fabricated exhaust on my street/srip '01 hayabusa. The meg doesn't appear to have any baffle or anything besides some kind of bracket towards the end. I'm trying to find out what baffle is available if any for it and if the tunable discs and end cap can be put on it. Thanks for any help.
The 61101 part number was an application for the '83-84 Kawasaki GPz 1100. On the back side of the welded on bracket or under the inlet clamp you should find a stamped part number which we could use to confirm this is indeed what you have. The core assembly seen at the back of the pipe has been out of production for several years and would most likely need to be replaced with a current model core (if we can match one up) to be able to use a disc assembly.
