Default refinish head pipes on old kerker system

I have an old Kerker system on my 1984 ZX550A1 GPZ and I believe it was originally finished with a 'ceramacoat' system (or something like that). At this point, its coated with nothing but surface rust in a bad way. What would you recommend for refinishing - send it off to a powdercoating shop, have them strip it and powdercoat? Maybe I can just sand down the rust and paint with a high temperature paint.

You can go the pricey route and send it off to a good quality coating provider like "Jet Hot"; however I have had good personal experience with a good quality High temp paint like the "KRYLON" 600 series sprays. I have the pipe media blasted at my local shop then hang it in my garage and give it a few coats. It looks great and I buy an extra can of paint incase it ever gets scratched or needs a touch up.
