I had fat shotz 2/2 with open end caps on a 08 roadglide, and changed to closed end caps. How would you recommend baffle adjustment. Upon taking the baffles out, they were sooty.

To get the same flow you had with the closed end cap add 10 discs. To provide more exhaust flow and a leaner running condition add additional discs.

Your reply was to add 10 discs. Would that be 10 to the existing 10 for a total of 20?
I need longer screws.
The open end cap has the equivalent flow of 10-12 discs. You will need 2.5" screws for 20 discs. These can be purchased through our webstore, P/N 404-7206
