2008 road king true duals

When installing the left muffler do i have to removed the oem bracket used for the rear cylinder exhaust, instruction are not clear for me

also was recommend to use kerker instead of original inside core how can i removed the inside core ??? on se slip-on

4. Remove Factory rear exhaust pipe mount bracket. Re-install bolts,
and tighten to 13-16 ft/lbs.

The 3 button head screws that secure the end caps also secure the core assembly. Once the screws are removed the only thing holding them in is friction.

One thing more about the true duals, where the shieds of the rear cylinder joint together ,there is a big gag between. one is more over the other,i have tried to fix that without succes.is something i'm doing wrong ? or it's normal as a bad design . till now i'm deceived with them

We haven't had any fitment issues with the heatshields on the "true dual" pipes. Contact our Customer Service Department during normal hours to discuss the issue and file a warranty claim if needed.
