I am thinking of installing a cat-back pipe and SuperTrapp on my Mazda Tribute. It has a 3.0l V6, no changes from stock other than a K&N air filter. While I want to reduce weight and increase power and efficiency, I like a relatively quiet ride. If I were to guess, I would want a 4" disc and 17" length. (not sure the 24" would fit?) What would your suggestion be? And do you have any feel for how much more power potential there is from stock? Also, with an SC, there doesnt seem to be any hangers - how are they installed?

Your choice of a 4" S/C Series is most likely the best option. Typically, with the increased flow of the SuperTrapp, you may see a 5-10% performance gain.
The S/C Series comes with a 2 piece tri-bracket (as used on our specific application mufflers) which can be bent and welded to the muffler body for a custom fit. You can also purchase an optional "center-pull" body clamp which wraps around the body and comes together with a mounting tab.
