Ok. In order to lower the noise to pass the governement test I tried to remove discs.
One of the screws snapped right off at the same level as the inner core.:( So. I am unable to remove it and to put one of my freshely ordered screws in.

Is there a way to remove the core so I can remove the screw?

The system is a Screaming Eagle Super trap 2-1. It says "supertrapp" on all the discs.

All the best

You should find a couple of button head screws on the bottom rear of the megaphone. These button heads and a bit of friction are the only things holding the core assembly in the body. After the button heads are removed the core can be taped out the rear of the megaphone from the inlet side. This is obviously best accomplished with the muffler off the bike and using a wooden dowel (piece of broom handle) from the inlet end.
A bit of penetrating oil (PB Blaster or Kroil) around the inlet and exit ends overnight along with some persistence and patience may help.
When reassembling the unit make sure to use a liberal amount of anti-seize on the disc screws.
