Hi, wonder if anybody encounter this problem. I have been using Supertrapp on my car for a few years. Recently the lambda sensor on my car short out again (2nd time in 3 years), and the mechanic put the blame on the exhurst. His explanation is that since the Supertrapp have no hole anf the sound absorbing material worn out, it block the space between the disc and that causes the system to choke and short out the sensor. Any comment.

Your mechanics theory has merit; however muffler packing deteriorating and clogging up the discs is highly unlikely. Has the mechanic showed you where the discs are clogged? Clogging should be easily observed since the muffler and disc assembly is at the "end" of the exhaust.
Failure of an o2 sensor is normally from build up of contaminates on the element causing shorting or inaccurate readings. These contaminates can be from conditions such as overly rich fuel mixture, fuel additives, oil consumption, faulty catalyst.
