Everything has it's positives and negatives and the specific application needs to be considered.
In a muffler body;

Aluminum = better heat dissipation and lighter

Stainless Steel = easier to to keep clean, more durable

thanks, so for me I think that it's better the stainless steel... more durable is important!

I know that in the stainless steel one the colour can change to light brown, it's the same for aluminium?

No, Aluminums color is not so much affected by heat as oxidation over time.

uhm...
but if I paint (black coat)the silencer, pheraps the colour wouldn't change, it's right?

No, Aluminum color is not so much affected by heat as oxidation over time.This is my two year-old SuperTrapp. It's been through rain, bugs, road tar and all the wear and tear that goes along with traveling this many miles. The picture was taken just a few minutes ago.

I'll let you be the judge of quality and craftsmanship. ;)
